Endangered Species

What is your endangered species? What does it eat, where does it live, and why is it endangered?

  1. mine is the bony tail chub. it lives in the turbid rivers of California, Utah, Arizona, and Colorado. it eats small fish and algae. it is endangered because it was hunted too much and because of global warming is drying its habitat.

  2. My Endangered spices is the Bald Eagle. The Bald Eagle eats mainly fish.Its range includes most of Canada and Alaska, all of the contiguous United States, and northern Mexico.it is endangered because people shoot them.

  3. My endangered species is the giant panda. Giant pandas are mostly on a bamboo diet. The giant panda lives in mountain ranges in China. They are endangered because of habitat loss, bamboo loss, poaching and mating.

  4. My species is the Adriatic Sturgeon and it eats small fish and crustaceans. It lives in the Adriatic sea and in some rivers in Italy and Croatia. It is endangered because of over-fishing and destruction of its habitat.

  5. My endangered species is the manatee. They prefer, warm shallow waters, and are migratory. They can be found in Texas, Florida, Massachusetts, South Carolina, Georgia, and West India. They primarily eat aquatic plants. They are endangered because of habitat loss, coast line construction polluting the waters, and being injured by boat propellers.

  7. My Endangered Species is Arctic Wolf. They have live in North America for more than two million years. They like meat, they can eat up to 20 pounds of meat at one meal. They are endangered because many people like to kill them.

  9. my endangered species is the leather back sea turtle,The largest of all sea turtles, and one of the largest reptiles on earth, the leather back turtle ranges in size from 4-8 feet and weighs between 500-2,000 pounds.The oldest of all sea turtle species, it has been around for more than 150 million years.They have survived the mass extinction of the dinosaurs and have thrived until the last several decades when human interactions have taken a major toll.

  10. My species is the California Condor. It eats dead sheep, cattle, horses, rabbits, and other dead animals. The California Condor is from California, and a small part of Arizona, Mexico, and Utah. It is endangered because of a loss of habitat, shootings, and pesticide residue.

  11. My species is a polar bear. It lives in antartica. It eats fish, whales, seals, birds, penguins, berries, garbage, reindeer, and more. It is becoming extinct due to global warming making food harder to find and oil spills in water making animals sick

  13. My endangered species is the Red Wolf. It usually eats beavers, deer, elk, rabbits, and other rodents and it lives in the southeastern part of North America. Its endangered because of poachers and predator control programs.

  14. My endangered animal is an Ocelot. They live anywhere from Northern Argentina to Southern Texas. Ocelots eat fish, frogs, iguanas, rodents, and rabbits. They are endangered because of habitat loss and because they are hunted for their fur.

    They are filter feeders, live in warm/tropical oceans and they're endangered because they are targeted by commercial/artisan fishers.

  16. Mine is the black lemur. it lives in the northern Madagascar. The black lemur eats eats fruit, which makes up an estimated 78% of is diet.The ripeness of this fruit is vital to the lemur's diet.Other foods eaten include flowers, leaves, fungi, some invertebrates and, especially during the dry season, nectar. its loosing its habitat

They eat zebras,wildebeest,warthog,buffalo,antelope,etc. Lions used to live in most parts of Africa but now they are usually found in southern and eastern Africa. They are endangered because most of the places they lived are full of people and cities and their habitat taken away. So they get put in private game reserves.

  18. Clouded Leopard.

    It eats sheep, wild boar, gazelles, hairs, mice, deer, and other small mammals.

    The Clouded Leopard is found in Southest Asia/Himalayas near mountain steppes and coniferous forests in high altitudes.

    It is endangered due to poachers, rise in temperatures and the changes in its habitats caused by global warming and human influences.

  20. My endangered species is the Grizzly Bear. Its main location was Northern California, but now they roam in Canada. the grizzly bear eats berries, salmon, and elk. they are endangered because people kill them because they think of them as a threat. they also hunt them down. - Brian Guzman

  21. My endangered species is the Red Panda. It eats Bamboo, feeds on insects, small mammals and flowers. It lives in in India and Southeast China, it is endangered because of loss of habitat in China and they also hunt them for their fur. And in India they are losing there habitat.
